Impi sitting with a golden retriever

My story

I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember.

I grew up in the Wicklow hills, in an old farmhouse on two acres, where there were always dogs and cats around — along with chickens, ducks and, at various times, a rescue pony and even a family of rescue peacocks!

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I love the idea of dogs being treated as part of the family. These days, I share my home in Douglas with my husband, our two children, our two rescue cats and Méabh, my very friendly cream Golden Retriever.

I keep the number of dogs I look after small so that every dog gets plenty of attention, affection and individual care.

Handy for airport travel

I'm about 15 minutes from Cork Airport, which can be handy if you're heading away. If your dog stays with me while you travel, they'll be looked after in my family home, with plenty of company, walks and all the usual comforts of home.
